How is health-insurance/health care access for all a "luxury" and a "privilege"? - access america insurance
Well, if a politician came out and asked every American citizen to have access to a castle, a Rolls Royce, the fall line of Hermes and an Olympic swimming pool that we, the rational voter, and laughs as if the right person to be a luxury not necessary for survival. Of course, they are too good, but he will not die without it or its impossible to get through society.
There are some things are not a luxury food is a necessity, and it is relatively inexpensive, particularly in discount stores, United States, and for those who are so poor they can receive food stamps, housing is a need, in most places outside the few large cities, there are cheap furnished rooms or studies, which can provide a person with low income to live, education is a necessity for harmonious society, so that our taxpayers' money to share and contribute to public education for those who do not can afford, a private school may receive something fundamental: education. We do this with the police and the protection against fire, because these are also the needs of society, not pleasureit is a BMW would be, what is the idea that access to quality health care for all is a "luxury" in imitation of a ticket on the QE2 or a new plasma TV screen. The need is not a luxury, my friends. Other countries, whose per capita incomes higher and lower unemployment (in Norway) are aware and are doing very well in Australia, for example. Too bad you can not wake up and understand what we in the prosperous, peaceful, democratic societies, which have won many immigrants seeking a better life to achieve it.

Nobody said it was a "luxury" or a "privilege". The question is how much it costs and who pays them.
Just as a car is a luxury. Of course, this makes life easier and more enjoyable, but I do not know.
And I would not mind too much credit to public education - you, your politicians not to send their children to public school.
